The Blue Sky Index was born on 27 December 2014. Its mission is simple: help people, projects, companies, cities, countries — and ultimately the world — invoke serendipity systematically by making it measurable.

What we mean by serendipity
Serendipity is not magic. It is the increased probability of meaningful positive outcomes through better systems, awareness, learning, and behavior.
BSIs are addable
Like stock-exchange indexes, BSIs roll up — from a single person, into projects, companies, cities, countries, continents, and the World BSI. Every daily check-in contributes. The higher the score, the better it is to invest your attention there.
